Welcome to More of Him - Less of Me,

My only desire in writing this blog is that someone else can grow closer to Christ through my experiences as I learn more of Him and less of me. We all have different paths. We all have different stories. We all make different decisions.
But we all have one thing in common: our God is ever constant and faithful to us.

This life is not about me. It is not about what I want to do with my life to experience fulfillment. It is not about where I want to go to have adventure. It is not about how I want my life to go by buying a house or getting married. It is not about if I want children or don’t want children. This short time I have on earth is not about how wonderful I can make my life look on social media.
My today, my hours, my every breath has meaning when the foundation of it all is to glorify Christ and further His kingdom. He promises me already that He WILL supply all my needs. I don’t need to focus or worry on those things.

That doesn’t mean we won’t have fulfilling experiences, crazy adventures, nice houses and families. It just means I take care of what I have control of: my attitude and how I live for Jesus Christ. If I try to control all of these other things, I will end up frustrated, stressed, unfulfilled and confused. He is not the author of confusion, but of peace. And when we do it His way by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving and making  known our requests to Him—He supplies peace that passes all our understanding to keep our hearts and minds.
